Sign and Merchandise Display

The Sign and Merchandise Display By-law requires an approved application for permit to erect any sign in the Town of Perth. The application review process ensures that all signs will be constructed and installed in accordance with the safety standards in place.  The information required on the application is:

• The style of sign
• The size of the sign
• The location of the sign (with specific dimensions)
• The materials being used
• If the sign is located on or over Town property a hold harmless agreement and proof of liability insurance coverage must be provided.
