Celebrate Global Flavours and Cultural Diversity at the First Annual Multicultural Food Fair
The Town of Perth, Algonquin College, the Lanark County Rural Inclusion Project, Local Immigration Partnership, The Table Community Food Centre, as well as dedicated community volunteers, have collaborated to present the first annual Perth Multicultural Food Fair. This free event is set to take place on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025, at Algonquin College, Perth Campus. Doors will open at 11 a.m., inviting the community to enjoy a delightful and diverse array of foods and live entertainment, all celebrating the rich cultural diversity of our region.
The event will feature food prepared by local community members, honoring the culinary traditions of nine different countries from around the world. This exciting celebration of global flavors offers an opportunity to taste authentic dishes while connecting with people from different cultures. In addition to the delicious food, attendees can enjoy live entertainment, further immersing themselves in the multicultural atmosphere.
The Multicultural Food Fair is made possible through the generous support of the Perth and District Community Foundation (PDCF), whose funding has helped bring this event to life. We also extend our sincere gratitude to Giant Tiger and Barnabe’s Your Independent Grocer for their invaluable contributions in bringing this event to fruition.
