Notice of Public Information Centre for Town of Perth: Development Education Session

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Perth wishes to invite residents to an education session about development on Monday, February 3, 2025.

Purpose: The Town is seeking to provide education to the public with respect to development at a Public Information Centre. The following topics will be covered:

·         Development process

·         Public input process

·         Development Charges and how infrastructure is funded

·         Planning applications

·         Followed by a brief overview of publicly available documents in relation to the proposed golf course development.

Following the public information centre, the presentation will be posted on the Town’s website.

Public Information Centre Details:

Where: The education session will be held at the Legion Hall at 26 Beckwith St E, Perth ON K7H 1B5. The session will also be accessible virtually through Zoom.

When: Monday, February 3, 2025 at 5:30 p.m.

How to submit questions in advance of the Meeting: Anyone who would like to submit questions in advance of the public information centre may submit their questions to Michael Touw, cao@perth.ca by Friday, January 23, 2025 before 12:00 p.m.

Please note: Due to the legal nature of the Ontario Land Tribunal Case, no questions in relation to the proposed golf course development can be answered; but questions related to general development are welcomed.
