Public Notice of the intent to adopt a new Meetings Procedure By-law

Notice is hereby given that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Perth intends to adopt a new Meetings Procedure By-law at the Regular Committee of the Whole meeting on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 5:30 PM.

Purpose of the By-law 
The Town’s current meetings procedure by-law was adopted in 2009 and has had numerous amendments. As the by-law requires significant revisions to clarify definitions, reflect current procedural practices and make the by-law more user friendly, it is proposed that a new meetings procedure by-law be adopted and that the current by-law be repealed.

Meeting Details
The Committee of the Whole meeting will be held in Council Chambers, Town Hall, 80 Gore Street East, Perth, on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 5:30 PM, and live streamed via the Town’s Facebook page for the public. Electronic participation is also available via Zoom.
