Public Notice of the Intent to Amend the Water and Sewer Rates By-law for 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Perth will consider a by-law to amend the water and sewer rates for 2024 at the Regular Committee of the Whole meeting on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 5:30 p.m.

The proposed by-law amendment will implement the increase to the water and sewer rates as adopted in the 2024 budget, and will result in the following: Water/Sewer Rate Increase: 6%, which for an average consumption would mean an increase of $48.00 for 2024.

The meeting will be held in Council Chambers, Town Hall, 80 Gore Street East, Perth, at 5:30 p.m. and live streamed via the Town’s Facebook page for the public.
