Second Case Management Conference Regarding Proposed Subdivision to Take Place on Monday, Feb. 12

The second Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) Case Management Conference (CMC) about the appeal submitted by CAIVAN (Perth GC) Limited (Case Number OLT-23-000534) will be taking place on Monday, Feb. 12, 2024 at 10 a.m.

During the CMC, the revised Draft Procedural Order and Issues List will be considered, along with an outstanding Party Status Request. Members of the public are welcome to attend the Case Management Conference (Case Number OLT-23-000534) and can join the virtual meeting (Access code: 558-205-565). All attendees are asked to join at least 15 minutes before the start of the event.

A four-week hearing has been scheduled to take place from Monday, Aug. 19-Friday, Sept. 13, 2024. Note that the Tribunal will not be sitting on Monday, Sept. 2 and Monday, Sept. 9.

As the Town prepares for the hearing, staff, alongside legal counsel, will be conducting the following steps in the process;

• Exchange of witness lists;
• determine an Agreed Statement of Facts;
• complete an exchange of witness statements, expert reports, and participants’ statements and,
• exchange responses to witness statements and visual evidence.

The Town will continue to provide information to the public relating to this OLT hearing as it becomes available, through the Town's website and social media. As the matter is now one of a legal capacity, Town staff and Council are not able to provide comment on the case.
