Town of Perth Invites Community Participation in Active Transportation Plan

The Town of Perth, in collaboration with Parsons Inc., is proud to announce the launch of its Active Transportation Plan (ATP). Aimed at transforming the way residents move around our town, this forward-thinking initiative focuses on developing sustainable, healthy, and enjoyable transportation options such as walking, cycling, and rolling.

The ATP is not just a plan for enhancing mobility; it's a blueprint for a healthier, more cohesive community. The Town is committed to inclusivity, ensuring that the plan caters to individuals of all ages and abilities. The process will explore various transportation solutions, focusing on accessibility, safety, and the joy of active travel.  "We are committed to creating a vibrant, accessible Perth, where active transportation is an integral part of everyone’s daily life," says Cathy McNally, Director of Community Services.

The Town of Perth invites residents to participate in the survey and upcoming public meeting. "Your participation is a step towards a more sustainable, connected, and vibrant community," states Cathy McNally. The study is set to be completed by Summer 2024, and regular updates and opportunities for public involvement will continue to be announced on the Town’s website and social media channels.
