Update: Watermain Break on Wilson Street East Between Halton Street & Robinson Street

The Town of Perth continues to respond to a watermain break on Wilson St. E., between Halton St. and Robinson St. Crews have been working throughout the day to locate the source of the leak, and repairs will continue into tomorrow.

While this work is ongoing, the safety of the drinking water remains unaffected. However, some residents may experience temporary water interruptions as repairs are completed. For any issues, contact the Water Treatment Plant (available 24/7) at 613-267-1072.

Detours remain in place to direct vehicles and pedestrians around the work area, with traffic in the area limited to local access only. Residents are asked to avoid the work area when possible and to plan their routes accordingly. The Queen Elizabeth School continues to be accessible via Robinson St. and South St. for school drop off and pick up.
