Watermain Break at Sherbrooke Street East & Robinson Street

The Town of Perth is responding to a watermain break at the intersection of Sherbrooke St. E. and Robinson St. Staff are onsite repairing the issue, and work is expected to continue into the end of the day.

While this work is underway, the safety of the drinking water remains unaffected. However, some residents may experience temporary water interruptions as repairs are completed.

Detours are in place to direct vehicles and pedestrians around the work area, with traffic in the area limited to local access only. Residents are asked to avoid the work area when possible and to plan their routes accordingly.

We appreciate the community’s patience as our crews work to resolve this issue. After responding to heavy snowfall and conducting snow removal operations yesterday, staff were back onsite early this morning to locate the break and begin repairs. Their dedication and hard work in these challenging conditions are greatly appreciated.
