In July of 2020, The Pepper Mustache was launched. After 17 years of making hot sauces for friends and family from ingredients we grew organically, it was time to bring our sauces to others. Over the last 6 years we have been able to educate people about food and how hot sauce can complement everyday meals, we have even written 30 recipes using our hot sauce in ways they would never think. Even in cocktails!
Today, we still grow all our peppers from the seeds we harvested from the year before and grow as many of the ingredients as we can. We tap trees and make maple syrup. Our goal is to continue educating people in new ways to enjoy hot sauces and spicy offerings.
Our products are carefully crafted in small batches. No chemical preservatives or artificial ingredients are used. Most products are vegan friendly and gluten free and all products are nut free.

I am a self taught artist and while my formal education and occupational training have certainly leant well to learning applicable skills for my artisanal craft I have always found it far more satisfying and engaging to learn new skills of my own volition and inspiration through research, dialogue with fellow artisans, and also conversations with existing or potential clients. This learning strategy has allowed me to undertake research and experimentation for years, proving very worthwhile in the development of my craftsmanship and also learning from mistakes. All my pieces move through a process of ideation, research, design, production and refinement and are one-of-a-kind made one-at-a-time.
My chainmaille and forged pieces are very texture-oriented. My forged items are designed to both enhance and interact with lived indoor and outdoor environments. For chainmaille, I create inspired patterns for earrings, necklaces, belts etc. from metal rings that stand out from generic factory-produced designs. The way my assembled rings settle when worn lends these items an almost fidget-friendly quality while remaining eye-catching and comfortable to wear.
My silver items showcase the wide variety of colours, textures, and patinas that sterling silver offers as a material, which stand out in their deliberately unconventional and asymmetrical style. Critically, my pieces do more than sparkle, they catch the eye because of their textures, vibrance, and uniqueness while remaining comfortable and lightweight.

Most of my work in nature inspired and I love creating designs with flowers and outdoor landscapes. I use bright colours and glazes to create drippy effects as well. Where possible, I try to leave raw clay exposed to show the beauty of the natural material I am working with.

I fell in love with the craft very quickly, joined my local wood turners guild and started entering competitions and craft shows soon afterwards. Where can I park, and how do I take the shuttle?
Perth will be bustling during the Night Market, and using the free shuttle is strongly recommended. The shuttle will run in a continuous loop from 2-11 p.m., during the full duration of road closures.
Where to Park & Shuttle Pickup Locations:
- Algonquin College
- Giant Tiger
The shuttle will drop you off at the intersection of Drummond and Herriott Streets, just outside the event area.
Additional Parking Options:
- Two lots off Herriott Street, accessible from Drummond Street
- The Tay Basin/Crystal Palace lot, also accessible from Drummond Street
- Perth Curling Club
Parking lots are expected to fill quickly—please arrive early. Side street parking is also available, but watch for signage.
Live in Town? If you're local, consider walking or cycling to the event to avoid traffic and parking delays.

Looking to stay overnight? Best Western Plus Perth Parkside Inn & Spa, Nevis Estate Boutique Hotel, and several independent vacation rentals are all within walking distance of the event.
Additional motels are available along Highway 7, about a 30-minute walk from the downtown core.

Where and when are the road closures?
The main event area will be closed to traffic from 2-11 p.m. on event day. Street parking will begin closing at noon, and all vehicles must be moved by 2 p.m. to avoidbeing towing.
The following roads will be closed:
- Wilson Street (from North to Herriott)
- Foster Street (from Wilson to Drummond)
- Gore Street (from North to Harvey)
- Herriott Street (from Wilson to Gore)
- Market Square
- Mill Street
Please plan ahead and give yourself extra time to arrive.

Look for the red tent in front of the Perth Museum & Visitor Information Centre. Our team will be there with event info, maps, brochures, and friendly faces to help you find your way. We’ve even got a first aid kit on hand, and there’s a defibrillator inside the Museum if needed.
While the Museum will be closed, the Visitor Information Centre and public washroom inside will remain open during the event.
