Boating and Docks

The Tay Canal offers scenic boating to Perth, connecting the town to the Rideau Lakes system with convenient docks for boaters during the summer months. To assist in your travels, Friends of the Tay have compiled essential information on bridge heights, canal depths, and more in their pamphlet Navigating the Tay Canal.

For passage confirmation, contact the Beveridge Locks Lockmaster at 613-267-2036 (open May to October, weekdays 9 a.m. from 6 p.m., and weekends 9 a.m. from 7 p.m.).

Last Duel Park, located at 22 Craig Street, has seven dock slips available for use along with a boat launch, kayak launch, and public washrooms. Overnight docking and shore power are available from May 15 to Thanksgiving by contacting the LDP Attendant at 613-264-5120 or by booking online.
